A note to say We're Thinking of you
Hello Class of 2020. It has been a crazy few weeks, and we hope you all are staying safe
and working hard. We just wanted to reach out to say how much we miss you all and truly understand how difficult this must be for you. Who would have thought this would be how your senior year would be coming to its end. We can not wait to see you all again. Stay safe, stay inside and finish your academics strong. Remember, we are Lightning Strong . Miss you!

Senior Exams
|
Monday, May 18: Period 3 and 4 exams (A-Day)
Tuesday, May 19: Period 7 and 8 exams (B-Day) **Wednesday, May 20: Period 1 and 2 exams (A-Day) **Thursday, May 21: Period 5 and 6 exams (B-Day) Monday and Tuesday will be regular schools days--seniors will go to the first two periods of each day as regular and then go to their finals. Students may exempt up to 3 exams, as usual, if they have an A or B average in a given class for both of the preceding quarters. Example 1: Student A exempts their 3rd period exam and has senior privilege 4th period. On Monday May 18th they would attend their 1st and 2nd periods as usual and then their day would be over as they would have the next period exempted and the final period of the day privilege. They would attend May 19th all day (5th and 6th as normal days, 7th and 8th as exams), May 20 for both exams, and May 21st for both exams. Students may leave after they take their exams. Example 2: Student B exempts Period 7, 1 and 2. They have dual enrollment so they have privilege 4 and 8. Student B shows up as normal on 5/18 for 1st and 2nd and then goes to their 3rd period exam. Then they leave for their privilege. 5/19 they go to their 5th and 6th as usual and because they have exempted 7th and have 8th privilege, they can leave campus. For 5/20 the student would not need to come to school. For 5/21 the student would come for both exams and then could leave campus as 7th and 8th period have already been taken. **Wednesday and Thursday are half days for SENIORS ONLY. Once they have taken their exams they are free to depart. However! Wednesday after exams we will have the Senior BBQ on the football field and Thursday after exams the seniors will have their paper/shaving cream event. ONCE SENIORS HAVE FINISHED THEIR EXAMS, THE ONLY REASON THEY NEED TO COME BACK TO SCHOOL IS TO RETURN THEIR TEXTBOOKS AND PICK UP THEIR CAP AND GOWN^. ^Date to follow. |
